docto who eternity clock Earlier, info and a teaser trailer hit the net about a new Doctor Who video game, "The Eternity Clock," for the PS3, PS Vita and PC.

Apparently it was leaked a bit early, as the video we had up was taken down (it's been since replaced with the latest).

Now, BBC Worldwide has officially announced the game and revealed some details (see below for more):

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock is the first of a series of games.

Two more are being planned.

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock 2012, initially on Playstation 3 ®; Playstation Vita ® and PC platforms.

In addition, over at the Playstation Blog, they also briefly touched upon "The Eternity Clock."

We’re very excited to be working with Supermassive Games as they’ve already delivered some great titles for PlayStation, such as Tumble, Start The Party and Start The Party: Save the World. The team are huge fans of the show and they’ve been great at bringing the key essence of Doctor Who into the game.

Working on PlayStation Vita, as well as PS3, is a real privilege and its unique set of features has allowed our designers to cut loose and we’ll tell you a lot more detail about how we’re using those features in a future post.

So, I hope you enjoy the trailer and look forward to sharing more details with you in the future.
